  • Uplift any simple outfit with our latest arrival to the Mahila universe, The Darma bag. It's made from handmade traditional Uzbek Ikat textile with extrodinary motifes that draws nothing but admiring attention.

Long story short. This bag is inspired by our designer, Marias, grandmothers totebag that have been past on through 3 generations since the 70's. A bag that she has worn business to beach carring all from a 13" laptop to bikinies and snacks.

We hope these unique pieces will bring you just as much joy.

This item is made from 100% cotton Ikat and bamboo. Made by hand.

The Ikat weaving technique require a tremendous amount of precision and skills to create as the pattern of the textile is coloured directly unto the yarn before it’s put on the loom. This give the textile a delicate and exclusive one of a kind feel that you'll have to see in real life to truly understand.

The bamboo handle is shaped by hand by our skilled basket weaver in Mumbai.

Our concept is rather simple. We make small drops of sun seeking apparel from handcrafted textiles, locally sourced around India in the villages where each technique originates. Every garment is made using 100% organic cotton and knitted accessories in 100% pure merino wool.

Our small drops of new styles are dropping whenever they are ready. Some of them we put up for pre-order to control our production.

What we have is what we have. It is a long process of making our handmade textiles and only in rare occasions we do restocks of a sold-out item if we have some extra fabric.

Normal delivery within 2-5 days from the day that you order.
